What we collect
Information you give us
When you join the house, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your first name, together with a record of your consent and the date and page where you gave it.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, our hosting and content-delivery providers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and the date and time of your visit. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through this site, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
How we use it
- To send you the emails you asked for: launch news, early access, private previews, new releases and invitations.
- To operate, secure and improve this site, including preventing fraud and abuse.

Retention
We keep your email details for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal suppression record so that we do not email you again, and delete the rest within a reasonable period unless the law requires us to keep it. Technical log information is kept for a limited period by our providers in line with their own retention schedules.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in every email. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy in a portable format.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

US state privacy rights
Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the rights described above. In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as email address, name and IP address) and internet activity information (such as browsing information on this site), from you and from your device, for the purposes described in this policy, and disclosed them to the service providers listed above for business purposes. We have not sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
EU, UK and international visitors
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, Motsi is the controller. Our legal bases are your consent (for marketing emails and optional cookies), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site, and compliance with legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We are based in the United States and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the EU, UK or other regions with transfer rules, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or a provider’s certification under the Data Privacy Framework. Visitors in Japan, South Korea and elsewhere consent to this transfer when they provide their information, where consent is the applicable basis, and may contact us for information about the safeguards in place.
